- The Annual General Meeting/Registration Night is September 1st, 2010 at 7pm in the Agora Room at the MR Civic Center.

- All Coach and Volunteer forms must be handed in by the SEPTEMBER 1st Annual Meeting to help determine the status of all teams in this regard. New Coaches & Managers need their AB Health Care Card and legal residence address (no PO Boxes) when filling out these forms.

- For all returning hockey players who DID NOT fill out the Pre-registration forms last year for Carol Swanson, they NEED TO let Connie Robertson know if they will be returning this season. This needs to be done by the SEPTEMBER 1st Annual Meeting to help determine the number of players on each team for the upcoming season. Connie can print off your registration form for you to sign at the Annual Meeting. You can make arrangements with her via email : connbrad@shockware.com (PLEASE remember, prompt registration aids the Association in knowing the number of participating players on each team. So, it is very important you do this as soon as possible.)

- Parents with new players need to attend the ANNUAL MEETING/ REGISTRATION NIGHT and bring along the child's Birth Certificate or Passport and their AB Health Care Card.

- The Association has appointed team representives to help aid in any team concerns until Managers and Coaches have been determined for each team. This contact person is who YOU WILL EMAIL OR PHONE   your team concerns to, or ask team related questions to. (PLEASE make note the rep will not track you down, it is your job to voice your concerns or questions to them.) This person is the liason between you, the parents, and the Executive. Once the season is underway, the team managers will be in place to communicate to the Executive at the monthly meetings. Any concerns will then be handled by the President, the Executive & Hockey AB.

Another hockey season is upon us. Hopefully you've had a great summer and are looking forward to hitting the ice once more this fall. There are a couple of changes this year, after several years as Registrar Carol Swanson has stepped down and Connie Robertson has stepped up to her position. Thank you for that Connie, it is greatly appreciated. As well Darcy Wills and Todd Wilson our long time President and Vice-President have also stepped down. Darcy has thankfully agreed to stay on temporarily until September 1st, and to help out this year during the transition, but we need these positions filled for the upcoming season asap.
